いよいよ会場の下見へ！

学生メンバ−のたいちゃんです。
10/15（土）TEDxHimiの第5回目となるミ−ティングが氷見キネマにて行われました。
今回のミ−ティングでは、学生メンバ−を含め多くの新しいメンバ−が参加してくれ賑やかな会となりました！

初参加のメンバ−のために自己紹介をしながら、まずは先月からの進捗を報告の共有をしました。それぞれの共有が終わった後、全員の顔に4か月後のTEDxHimiの開催に向けての焦りが…。

その後、TEDxHimiのアクティビティの内容を話し合い、これから次月に向けて氷見に根付いている文化や伝統を見つめ直せるような企画の準備を行う予定です。

氷見キネマでのミ−ティング後には、場所を移動して当日の会場の下見に行ってきました。
みなさん気になる次回のTEDxHimiの会場ですが…「氷見温泉郷 くつろぎの宿 うみあかり」に決定しました！

うみあかりは、氷見市の海辺にあるとてもくつろげる宿です。
館内からは富山湾が一望でき、好天時には立山連峰を望むこともできるとか！
海が一望できる開放感たっぷりの天然温泉もとてもオススメです。


さて、うみあかりでは、当日の会場設営やステ−ジの配置…を確認。
実際に開催が迫ってきていることを痛感します。
ただ、下見をしながら、とっても素敵な会場が出来上がりそうな予感がしています！

Meeting held on Saturday, October 15: Preliminary Inspection of the Venue

Hi I am Tai-chan, one of the student staff of TEDxHimi. The 5th TEDxHimi meeting was held at Himi Kinema on Saturday, October 15. A lot of newcomers, including student members, participated in this meeting which was filled with a lively atmosphere!

After existing members and new participants introduced each other, we reported on the progress of this project since last month. After sharing our current statuses with each other, we all had a look of impatience and nervousness on our faces for TEDxHimi, just 4 months away!

We then discussed the details of the TEDxHimi activities and finalized what we are going to prepare for next month’s projects. The projects offer an opportunity to take another look at local cultures and traditions rooted in Himi.

After the meeting at Himi Kinema, we went to the venue of TEDxHimi for the preliminary inspection. We can now proudly announce the location of the venue you have all been waiting for – Umi-Akari, a comfortable hotel located at the hot spring village in Himi!

Umi-Akari, a Japanese-style hotel near the beach in the city of Himi, promises guests a relaxing time.

Visitors can enjoy a view of Toyama Bay from the hotel building and you can even see the Tateyama mountain range when the weather is fine! Their natural hot spring along with the great ocean view creates a wonderful sense of space and is highly recommended.

We confirmed how we will proceed with the operations on the event day, such as the site preparation and the stage position at Umi-Akari. Standing at the actual venue, we felt fully aware of the fact that this event day is coming up soon. This preliminary inspection gave us a strong feeling that this venue will be a great one! We plan to continuously report our updates on our website, so look forward to seeing more!
