和泉 誠

和泉誠 4人兄弟の次男。

美術大学を卒業後、大学助手、専門学校や美術教室の講師をしながら絵画作品の制作発表を続ける。

結婚を機に売れない絵を描き続けることを諦め、オーダーで美術作品の制作をしていくことを生業とする。

長女の誕生後、美術を通しどう子どもと関わって行くかを考え、イタリアで生まれた幼児教育実践法を学ぶ。

子育ての面白さ、子どもの表現の豊かさにもっと関わりたいと考え、絵画教室を皮切りに保育ママ施設、小規模保育施設を創設。今ではアートな保育で注目される「こどもなーと」という6つの保育施設を運営。

Izumi Makoto
After graduated from university of art, he became a teacher of art collages. Furthermore, he sometimes released his art pictures. But when he got married, he gave up making unselling pictures and start dropping made-to-order art works. Years later, his daughter was born. So he considered what he can do for children through art. To find the answer, he went to Italy and learned practical art education method. Starting with the painting classroom, he created a nursery mother facility and a small-scale childcare facility after he found the fun of parenting and the richness of children’s expressions. Today, he operates six nursery facilities named “codomonoart”, which is attracting attention in art-care education.
