川嶋 舟

川嶋舟 東京農業大学農学部准教授。獣医学博士。

医療、福祉、教育などの領域で、動物を利活用する動物介在療法の研究に従事し、特に馬を介在動物として用い、社会復帰のための支援をする「乗馬療法」を専門とする。

さらに、担い手が不足する農業分野と介護を受ける人の就労場所が不足する福祉分野とが連携することで新たな事業をつくりだす「農福連携」によって、就労での自立が困難な人のための働く場所をつくる就労支援プログラムの開発にも尽力し、介護に蚕を使う「訪問カイコ」は成果を上げている。

Schu Kawashima
Doctor of Veterinary and Associate Professor, Faculty of Agriculture, Tokyo University of Agriculture. He studied Animal-assisted therapy, which utilizes animal in the fields of medicine, welfare, and education. Particularly, he specializes in “horse riding therapy” which supports rehabilitation in society. He also has been working “agriculture welfare cooperation” which rearing silkworm in business to create work place for patients who are difficult to work independently. His work helps improvement of both agricultural industry which struggling with luck of worker, and welfare industry which people are difficult to find a work place.
